Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way.

Edward de Bono

There are times in our lives when we feel the need to seek counsel from others when in reality, we hold many of the answers ourselves.

Working creatively can bring to light unconscious thoughts and feelings with an honesty we can often find difficult to express or recognise when talking with our conscious mind. This can be enlightening and invaluable for self awareness, reparation and healing.

Creative therapy is a way of helping to make conscious things that may be difficult to see or understand. It is a way of utilising the unconscious in the hope that it will help move us towards a greater understanding and facilitate a healthier way of being.
