I am a play and creative arts therapist with over a decade of experience. I am passionate about the value of play alongside a therapeutic relationship and its role in supporting healing journeys for children.
In 2017, I began the journey to become a Sandplay Therapist and am registered with the Association for Sandplay Therapy. I follow a person-centred approach, and respect that each person has their own unique journey to make towards psychological well-being and wholeness.
I am a licensed Parent-Child Attachment Play (PCAP) and Baby Bonding (BB) practitioner offering one to one and group workshops for parents and parents-in-waiting.
I am a qualified Creative Arts Clinical Supervisor and currently work with therapeutic practitioners and school professionals, individually and in groups.
I am a qualified Mindful Hatha Yoga Teacher and bring this into my well-being work with both adults and children.
I am currently studying Pluralistic Therapeutic Counselling to further develop my work.
I am an accredited provider on the Bristol City Council Adoption Support Fund Framework for the provision of therapeutic services.
I have undertaken post qualifying training on Creative Therapeutic Life Story Work, Sherborne ‘Developmental Movement Play’ level 1, Counselling Children and Young People and Developmental Trauma.
I have delivered various talks/training about play therapy, sandplay therapy and related topics, such as attachment, within educational settings. I am available for creative workshops and CPD events for therapists/counsellors.
